Current Transformer

Current Transformer

(1)
The principle of current transformers is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. A current transformer is composed of a closed iron core and winding. Its primary winding has very few turns and is connected in series in the line where the current needs to be measured. Therefore, it often has all the current flowing through the line. The secondary winding has more turns and is connected in series in the measuring instrument and protection circuit. When the current transformer is working, its secondary circuit is always closed, so the impedance of the measuring instrument and protection circuit series coil is very small, and the working state of the current transformer is close to a short circuit.

11kV LXK-Φ80-300 Zero Sequence current transformer CT high voltage single phase toroidal coil inflatable cabinet piercing type

This series of current transformers is suitable for indoor, rated frequency 50Hz or 60Hz, rated voltage 35KV and below small grounding current systems for three-phase cable grounding protection. It can also be used in conjunction with relays. The primary insulation of this type of transformer is guaranteed by the cable, and the product only assesses the insulation performance of the secondary winding. The ground withstand voltage of the secondary winding is 3kV for one minute.
